Torrential monsoon rains have inflicted unprecedented devastation. Landmass the size of the United Kingdom is now under water. Millions have been displaced and lost their homes and livelihood including livestock and crops.
We must respond to help them rebuild their lives.
The United Nations have launched an international emergency appeal, DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) are raising funds which are being match funded by the UK Government, but we can all do more to help.
We must support those that have survived the floods but now face hunger, disease, and a winter without shelter.
Savayra responded to the floods in Pakistan in 2010 and we again need your support to rebuild lives.
In 2010, with the help of our donors, Savayra Foundation not only provided immediate relief in the form of medical supplies, food, tents etc for flood victims but also ran programs to re establish livelihoods and rebuild homes.
Savayra Colony was built in KPK and has thankfully survived the recent floods.
